Eric Fishburn has more than 30 years experience in construction and real estate.  Starting first as a carpenter then soon as a licensed general contractor, he developed a team methodology to bring continuity and quality control to the construction process, building teams of craftsmen through training and recruitment to perform key trades in a collaborative effort.  He has produced more than 100 distinctive residential projects, over a half million square feet of high quality construction, including many estates over 10,000 s/f; each unique in its challenges and solutions.  He also built the occasional boutique commercial project for clients who desired his qualified approach to achieving results.

He expanded from his experience building residential estates into developing luxury multi-family projects; a resort project comprised of 19- 5,000 s/f mountain lodges and a clubhouse, a 24 unit ski in ski out townhome development, and two multi home subdivision projects of 17 and 32 free standing residences.

Pursuing his interests in sustainability, in 2009 he obtained professional accreditation in the US Green Building Council’s LEED program and has since successfully completed 5 gold and platinum rated residences; he incorporates principles of sustainability and healthy living in all his projects.

He founded his own development company in 1993 building single family residences and entitling parcels of land in Cape Cod, MA and in Teton Valley, ID.

In 2003 Craig received his Masters of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) from MIT and joined Greenfield Partners of Greenwich, CT as a development manager, successfully transforming over 50,000 square feet of retail space, 160 condominium units, a golf course & clubhouse, and 36 high end ski-in ski-out lodges.  He rezoned over 500+ acres of land in Sun Valley ID, now called Elkhorn Springs.

Starwood Capital of Greenwich CT. recruited Craig as Vice President of Starwood Development where he was responsible for multiple real estate assets, including Starwood’s purchase of Mammoth Mountain’s resort and hotel properties.  He reported to the Starwood/Mammoth board and oversaw rezoning, dispositions, acquisitions, and entitlement of multiple hotel, lodge, and townhome projects.

In 2008, Craig joined the University of British Columbia Properties Trust, as a Financial Analyst and Development Manager where he oversaw the development and construction of over 600,000 s/f and over $320 million in project costs.  All of the projects were sustainably built, earning LEED Gold and Platinum certifications; the CIRS building has been recognized as one of the most sustainably built projects in North America.

Craig has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Northwestern University and a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development (MSRED) from MIT.
